New Tree Regulations: On Tuesday, March 17, 2009, the City Council adopted the new tree regulations for the City of Woodinville.
The new regulations were developed after months of work by city employees, the public, Tree Board, Planning Commission, and the City Council. The regulations are designed to help preserve the community’s northwest woodland character.
Residents are encourage to review the new tree regulations, which can be found on the City’s website at www.ci.woodinville.wa.us/Live/TreePreservation.asp or by reviewing the Tree Regulations Brochures available at City Hall and on the City’s website.

Half of the NWMLS areas (18 vs.17) had less than six months supply (yellow & red). The balanced areas increased from 5 in February to 17 in March.

According to statistics provided by Move Inc., 23% of adults plan to purchase a home in the next five years, out of which 53.5% would be first time home buyers.
In the survey conducted detailing these results, they also found that 18.9% of homeowners plan to take advantage of the Obama administration’s foreclosure prevention programs.

On March 4th the Obama administration launched the Mortgage Relief Plan. The Plan aims to help an estimated 9 million Americans stay in their homes by helping them qualify for cheaper mortgages.
The Plan has two parts: (1) as many as 5 million homeowners will be able to refinance and end up with affordable fixed-rate loans; (2) up to 4 million homeowners will be eligible to modify their loan terms.
